Martinique Beach
Martinique is known for having Nova Scotia's longest sandy beach, approximately 5 km in length. It's a protected area for the piping plover and a wildlife refuge for migratory waterfowl. Washrooms, picnic tables, charcoal pits, and boardwalks are available. Supervised swimming in July and August. Surfing instruction & equipment available at the Halifax Surf School.
