Have you ever wondered what’s behind your drywall in that empty wall? I had a customer who asked that question. We schemed together, got brave cut open a 52”x24” space in her kitchen wall to find out. We found 4” of emptiness! I removed some 2x4 studs and shifted a wire out of the way and got busy. The customer lined the back wall with a thin layer of natural canvas which looks great. I created a robust frame of pine and inserted it into the opening and mounted it to the studs. I then attached some cool wicker IKEA doors the customer picked up and “voila” a liquor cabinet appeared. Check out the series of photos attached to the blog and see if it’s something you could do as well! Maybe it's something you want me to do for you?
